Above: Screen shot of Starlight's visualization capabilitiesStarlight is a powerful 3-D, visualization application that organizes and summarizes large amounts of information and then presents the results in easily interpretable graphics. Starlight enables researchers to work with a variety of data types, ranging from structured, semi-structured or unstructured information to geospatial and multimedia data.
Over the past year, the Battelle Center has worked closely with Battelle Memorial Institute staff to see if there are any educational data sets that might benefit from being placed under Starlight's visualization lens.
